The discovery of the vaccination technique was revealed by Edward Jenner in 1796, which represented the first scientific attempt to control an infectious disease by vaccines, followed by other important studies carried out by Pasteur and Koch, and Sabin, who developed the first technique to attenuate the virus. In recent decades, numerous scholars have begun to create dangerous theories against the effectiveness of vaccines through scientifically invalid or fraudulent studies. This critical review of the literature aims to analyze the main factors that have undermined the credibility of vaccines in the general population, disproved false information and emphasized the benefits of vaccines over the last 200 years.

Background: World Health Organization (WHO) has increasingly improved the guidelines to tackle the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) among the worldwide population. In this context, each country has introduced specific social, healthcare, political and macroeconomic measures to face COVID pandemic locally.
Objective: The general aim of this comparative overview is to highlight the most significant effects of COVID-19 pandemic on the main healthcare systems.
Implant design factors and the abutment connection are correlated with crestal bone stability. The aim of the present study was to evaluate a new type of screw-retained prostheses delivered on tissue-level implants with conical external vertical seal and internal hexagon connection. Implants 4.

Two conditions are necessary for a correct and functional prosthetic implant rehabilitation: maintaining pre-implant soft tissue health and stability of bone tissue, in terms of implant osseous-integration and maintenance of optimal crestal attachment levels. In addition to these parameters - necessary for the longevity of the restoration - one of the main aspects of therapy is the achievement of a final aesthetic that reproduces as faithfully as possible the natural anatomy of the lost tooth and the associated soft tissues. To achieve this last objective, an implant system was designed and used by our group.

Methods: This retrospective study evaluated data collected from patients treated between April 2001 and May 2018 with IOV on splinted and non-splinted implants and a ball attachment system. Patients were followed for 36 to 206 months (mean follow-up was 128.
Background: The aim of the present prospective case series study was to evaluate the implant and prosthetic survival rates, complications and marginal bone loss using ultra-fine titanium mesh membrane with simultaneous implant placement, to provide space maintenance mandatory for guided bone reconstruction of alveolar bone defects.
Materials And Methods: patients were recruited and treated at a private clinic in Rome, Italy, between March 2016 and October 2017. Self-tapping tapered implants were placed through a computer-guided template-assisted approach.

Different implant-abutment connections have been developed in the effort of reducing mechanical and biological failure. The most frequent complications are screw loosening, abutment or implant fracture and marginal bone loss due to overload and bacterial micro-leakage. Ideal connection should work as a one-piece implant avoiding the formation of a micro-gap at the implant-abutment interface.

In patients with oral-nasal communication the absence of alveolar and/or palatal hard and soft tissue, or contraction resulting from previous surgical repair, needed prosthetic rehabilitation. This clinical report describes a treatment of an oral-nasal communication through a mixed prosthetic rehabilitation, fixed and removable, with attachments performed by EDM technique.

In this case report, the erosive/abrasive worn dentition have been reconstructed with metal ceramic crown on the posterior teeth and with ceramic veneers on the anterior teeth 1.3 - 2.

Methods: An implant-prosthetic treatment was proposed to a 53-year-old woman with a total prosthesis in the upper jaw. Six implants on upper maxillary were placed keeping the upper complete denture during the osseointegration period.
Unlabelled: Development of patient-based questionnaire about aesthetic and functional differences between overdentures implant-supported and overdentures tooth-supported. Study of 43 patients with a follow up of 1 year.
Objective: The aim of this study is to compare functional efficiency and patients satisfaction between tooth-supported and implant-supported overdenture through a questionnaire that accurately reflects the real concerns of patients with dental prosthesis.

Objective: This article presents a case report of restoration of anterior teeth using an indirect technique with composite veneers in order to restore the dental anatomy and to provide aesthetic and function of anterior teeth.
Materials And Methods: A treatment of upper anterior teeth with indirect micro-hybrid composite restoration was proposed to a 40-year-old woman with old discolored and fractured ceramic veneers. Upper six anterior teeth were prepared and, after impressions with VPS of maxillary arche, the composite veneers were placed.
Unlabelled: Prosthetic-restorative approach for the restoration of tooth wear. Case report
Objective: This article presents a case report of combined prosthetic-adhesive rehabilitation in a patient with a generalized tooth wear.
Methods: A combined treatment adhesive - prosthetic was proposed to a male patient of 65 years old having a clinically significant tooth wear, with dentine exposure and with a reduction in clinical crown height.
