Aim: The investigation of serum leptin, ghrelin, insulin, seratonin hormones, NO, total oxidant/antioxidant status and brain cannaboid 1 receptor protein and apoptotic cell levels in atorvastatin and Lactobacillus acidophilus administrated experimental hypercholesterolemia was aimed in the project.

Methods: In the study, 5 experimental groups were formed. Group 1 was fed with standard rat chow, and Group 2 was fed with 2% cholesterol added standard rat chow for 8 weeks.

Inactivated parapoxvirus ovis (iPPVO) could help to accelerate treatment with acaricidial therapy by altering the immune response.
