Methods: We used data from working-age adults included in a prospective, longitudinal cohort of a random sample of all individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2 between August 2020 and January 2021 in the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland.

When a woman becomes pregnant, she has a legal right to various measures to protect herself and the unborn child. Practice and literature show that even 20 years after the introduction of the Maternity Protection Ordinance, the knowledge and ultimately the implementation of the existing legislation in everyday clinical practice is still expandable.
