The measures taken during the pandemic have had lasting effects on people's lives and perceptions of the ability of national and multilateral institutions to drive human development. Policies that changed people's behavior were at the heart of containing the spread of the virus. As a result, it has become a systemic human development crisis affecting health, the economy, education, social life, and accumulated gains.

The proposed controller tuning method performs a multi-objective optimal fine-tuning strategy that implements a Consensus Oriented Random Search (CORS) algorithm to evaluate transient simulation results of a set point filter type Two Degree of Freedom (2DOF) FOPIDA control system. Contributions of this study have three folds: Firstly, it addresses tuning problem of FOPIDA controllers for first order time delay systems.

The proposed adaptive control structure includes two optimizer processes that perform gradient descent optimization. The first process is the control optimizer that generates appropriate control signal for tracking of the controlled system output to a reference model output.

More specifically, its aim is to present an approach to the construction of uncertain models based on the appropriate selection of a nominal system and a weight function and to apply the fundamentals of robust stability investigation for considered sort of systems. The initial theoretical parts are followed by three extensive illustrative examples in which the first order time-delay, second order and third order plants with parametric uncertainty are modeled as systems with unstructured multiplicative uncertainty and subsequently, the robust stability of selected feedback loops containing constructed models and chosen controllers is analyzed and obtained results are discussed.

All parameter computations of the FOPID employ random initial conditions, using the proposed optimization method. Illustrative examples demonstrate the performance of the proposed FOPID controller design method.

For this propose, a probabilistic stability analysis method based on characteristic root region accommodation in the first Riemann sheet is developed for interval systems. Stability probability distribution is calculated with respect to value of fractional order.

Methods are based on scan sampling of interval characteristic polynomials from the hypercube of parameter space. Exposed-edge polynomial sampling is used to reduce the computational complexity of robust stability analysis.

New robust lag, lag-lead, PI controller design methods for control systems with a fractional order interval transfer function (FOITF) are proposed using classical design methods with the Bode envelopes of the FOITF. These controllers satisfy the robust performance specifications of the fractional order interval plant.
