Smoking cessation appears to be the response that provides the best cost/benefit ratio among cardiovascular prevention actions. However, hospitalization precisely offers a strategic opportunity to initiate smoking cessation. This work evaluates the assistance in smoking cessation of patients treated by coronary angioplasty at the University Hospital of Liege over the last 6 years.
