Vancomycin is a frequently used antibiotic for treating severe infections caused by multidrug-resistant, Gram-positive pathogens. To ensure its effectiveness and minimize the risk of nephrotoxicity, safe administration and dose monitoring are crucial. Understanding the impact of vancomycin serum levels on clinical outcomes is of paramount importance, necessitating improved knowledge on its use, dose monitoring, nephrotoxicity, and safe administration.

The extraction of genetic material from a sample is one of the early steps of the metagenomic study. With the evolution of the processes, the analysis of the sequenced data allowed the discovery of etiological agents and, by corollary, the diagnosis of infections.

Computerized simulators are important tools that support teaching in many areas. The use of these instruments is often described as significant for students and teachers. In this paper, a software piece was developed to aid decision-making in nursing, allowing the simulation of real situations, addressed in the classroom.

Method: Quantitative, descriptive, observational study performed in a Clinical/Surgical Hospital Unit. 30 direct and indirect activities.
Objective: To identify scientific literature on oncology nurses who provide patient navigation services as nurse navigators.
Methods: Integrative review of literature searches in the databases LILACS, MEDLINE/PubMed, SCOPUS, SciELO, Web of Science and Science Direct based on the descriptors patient; navigation; nurse; professional; cancer; oncology; navigator; and navigators.
Results: Seventeen articles were identified and grouped according to the following thematic approach: Care Processes; Patients; and Health Workers.
Introduction: A discussion in literature about a standardized decision support tool for the management of thyroid nodules remains.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to create a statistical prediction model for thyroid nodules management.
Methods: Two hundred and four benign and 57 malignant thyroid nodules were selected for a retrospective study.

Distance Learning, among other advantages, encourages the development of autonomy and social construction of knowledge, both essential in continuing health education. For the development of competencies needed at work, the use of simulation can be an alternative so that knowledge, skills and attitudes are put into practice through simulated situations with a pedagogical and educational structure. Therefore, it has been proposed the creation of simulation with the aim of promoting competencies related to the leading role played by nurses of a hospital.

This work aims to describe the inception and design for a hospital simulator based on data and cases provided by teachers and other randomized data. The main goal is to develop a computer software tool that simulates a hospital as a tool for nursing student. The system is based on a multi-agent model and multi threaded parallel processing.
