Aim: This study compared neurodevelopmental screening questionnaires completed when preterm-born children reached 2 years of corrected age with social communication skills at 5.5 years of age.
Methods: Eligible subjects were born in 2011 at 24-34 weeks of gestation, participated in a French population-based epidemiological study and were free of motor and sensory impairment at 2 years of corrected age.
It has been demonstrated that universal hearing neonatal screening (UHNS) is efficient at providing early diagnosis and rehabilitation for deafness. The risk factors of deafness in children have been identified, but less specifically in those diagnosed after UHNS. In this study, we aim to study these factors in infants who were referred after screening and to compare our experience to recent data.

At 2 years of corrected age, there was no significant difference between the groups in death or risk of neurodevelopmental delay assessed with the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. Trial registration Clinicaltrials.

The secondary aims were to describe these interactions and their disorders, explore the association between maternal emotional state and the interactions, and assess the relationship between disordered interactions and infant social withdrawal behaviour.
Methods: OLIMPE is an ancillary study of the population-based study EPIPAGE 2, which recruited preterm neonates in France in 2011.
To describe neurodevelopmental outcomes at 2 years corrected age for children born alive at 22-26, 27-31, and 32-34 weeks' gestation in 2011, and to evaluate changes since 1997. Population based cohort studies, EPIPAGE and EPIPAGE-2. France.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate fetal and neonatal outcomes based on antenatal vs postnatal assessments of growth restriction.
Study Design: From the EPIPAGE 2 population-based prospective study of very preterm births in France in 2011, we included 2919 singleton nonanomalous infants 24-31 weeks gestational age.
Objective: To assess the impact of latency duration on survival, survival without severe morbidity, and early-onset sepsis in infants born after preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) at 24-32 weeks' gestation.
Study Design: This study was based on the prospective national population-based Etude Épidémiologique sur les Petits Ȃges Gestationnels 2 cohort of preterm births and included 702 singletons delivered in France after PPROM at 24-32 weeks' gestation. Latency duration was defined as the time from spontaneous rupture of membranes to delivery, divided into 4 periods (12 hours to 2 days [reference], 3-7 days, 8-14 days, and >14 days).
Objective: To investigate the relationship between placenta-mediated pregnancy complications and bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in very preterm infants.
Methods: National prospective population-based cohort study including 2697 singletons born before 32 weeks' gestation. The main outcome measure was moderate to severe BPD.
Objective: To investigate the association of the cause of preterm birth on in-hospital mortality of preterm neonates born from 24 to 34 weeks of gestation.
Methods: L'Etude épidémiologique sur les petits âges gestationnels (EPIPAGE)-2 is a prospective, nationwide, population-based cohort of very preterm births. After dividing causes of preterm birth into six mutually exclusive groups, we analyzed the association of each cause with in-hospital deaths of preterm neonates born alive with adjustment for organizational, maternal, and obstetric factors.
Unlabelled: The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of a hand-held preoperative compact imager (POCI) camera with conventional lymphoscintigraphy using a γ-camera for sentinel lymph node (SLN) detection in breast cancer.
Methods: The main objective was to demonstrate the noninferiority of the POCI relative to conventional lymphoscintigraphy and to compare the number of SLNs detected by the 2 imaging devices. Our study, a clinical prospective, double-blind, noninferiority study, planned to include 200 patients with early breast cancer and started in January 2006.
