Purpose: To analyze the anatomic distribution and influencing factors on deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in patients with spinal fractures caused by high-energy injuries.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 302 patients of lower extremity DVT who were admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to December 2023. All patients underwent ultrasonography of DVT before and after surgery.
N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most prevalent internal chemical modification in eukaryotic messenger RNA (mRNA), significantly impacting its lifecycle through dynamic and reversible processes involving methyltransferase, demethylase, and binding proteins. These processes regulate mRNA stability, splicing, nuclear export, translation, and degradation. Programmed cell death (PCD), a tightly controlled process encompassing apoptosis, pyroptosis, ferroptosis, autophagy, and necroptosis, plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular homeostasis, tissue development, and function.

Preparatory activity in the frontal cortex predicts upcoming choice, but limitations of typical tasks have made it challenging to determine whether the spatial information is in a self-centered direction reference frame or a world-centered position reference frame. Here, we trained male rats to make delayed visually guided orienting movements to six different directions, with four different target positions for each direction, which allowed us to disentangle direction versus position tuning in neural activity.

In our study, a novel polysaccharide named ARS was isolated and purified from aerial part of salviae miltiorrhizae radix. Our aim is to investigate the weight-reducing effect of a polysaccharide from salviae miltiorrhizae radix on mice fed a high-fat diet.

We generated five F hybrids [four showing better-parent heterosis (BPH) and one showing mid-parent heterosis], and performed the transcriptomic and methylomic analyses to identify the candidate genes for BPH and explore the molecular mechanism of heterosis and the potential predictors for heterosis.

However, cold damage restricts its planting application in cold areas. To elucidate the metabolic response of rose under low temperature stress, we conducted transcriptome and de novo analysis of Rosa xanthina f.

The long-term outcomes of those who require a change in therapy after front-line 2GTKI therapy are largely undescribed. Here we describe the clinical outcomes associated with switch to an alternative TKI after first-line therapy with a 2GTKI.

However, because a small number of cases were included in each study, the statistical power was limited. Therefore, we performed a protocol for meta-analysis to further evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of combined ARB and TGs in treatment of DN.

Understanding tumour heterogeneity is critical when developing novel treatment strategies. However, a comprehensive investigation of tumour heterogeneity in HCC is lacking, and the available evidence regarding tumour heterogeneity has not led to improvements in clinical practice.

Objective: To estimate the value of combinative index (combination of routine biomarkers) for predicting 28-day mortality in patients with sepsis.
Study Design: An observational study.
Place And Duration Of Study: Department of Intensive Care Unit, the Second Hospital of Shandong University, Jinan, China, from August 2016 to December 2016.
Background: The honey bee () is a highly diverse species commonly used for honey production and pollination services. The oviposition of the honey bee queen affects the development and overall performance of the colony. To investigate the ovary activation and oviposition processes on a molecular level, a genome-wide analysis of lncRNAs, miRNAs and mRNA expression in the ovaries of the queens was performed to screen for differentially expressed coding and noncoding RNAs.

We describe an experimental instrument used for measuring nondestructively the residual stress using short wavelength X-ray, tungsten k. By introducing a photon energy screening technology, the monochromatic X-ray diffraction of tungsten k was realized using a CdTe detector. A high precision Huber goniometer is utilized in order to reduce the error in residual stress measurement.

The shape of pore array on the YSZ substrate surface can be controlled through changing the concentration of the precursor solution (Zr(4+)/Y(3+) = 23 mol/L/4 mol/L) and treatment conditions. An ordered hemispherical array was obtained when CZr(4+) = 0.

We aimed to undertake a meta-analysis to quantify the accuracy of BISAP score for predicting mortality and severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).
Materials And Methods: We searched the databases of Pubmed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library to identify studies using the BISAP score to predict mortality or SAP.

The present study was conducted to reveal the effect of bags with different colors on the fruit coloration of 'Yunhongli No. 2'. The differences in fruit skin color, chlorophyll, flavonoids, total phenol, anthocyanin contents and the activities of related enzymes involved in anthocyanin synthesis among different bagging treatments were evaluated.

Fourty two patients with coronary artery disease were studied. Among them 22 were treated with continuous perfusion percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (CPPTCA) and 20 with percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). It was found that patients treated with CPPTCA can stand longer time of dilatation during operation than those treated with PTCA (P < 0.
