Background: Locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC) poses a significantly challenge in clinical management, requiring a multimodal treatment approach. Among innovative strategies, Total Neoadjuvant Therapy (TNT) has emerged, delivering all planned chemotherapy before surgery.

Objective: Our aim was to evaluate the real-world application and efficacy of TNT and to compare it with the non-TNT standard strategy.

Although mandatory fortification of oil with vitamin A is efficacious, its effectiveness can be compromised by suboptimal compliance to standards. In this study, we assessed (1) the availability of oil brands across the eight divisions of Bangladesh, (2) fortification quality (the extent to which vitamin A content is aligned with fortification standards) of oil brands and producers and (3) the market volume represented by available edible oil types. We visited different retail outlets in rural and urban market hubs to ascertain available oil brands and bulk oil types and collected samples.

We report the case of a 28-year-old man, diagnosed with a non-secreting, non-metastatic suprasellar germinoma treated with chemoradiation who developed, four months after completion of radiation therapy, multiple discrete demyelinating lesions mimicking multiple sclerosis (MS). The patient had no previous diagnosis of MS and the neuroimaging studies performed both at the time of diagnosis and after chemotherapy, pre-irradiation, showed no evidence of white matter lesions. He remained asymptomatic, with no focal neurological deficits.

Purpose: Treatment strategies for low rectal cancer have been evolving toward achieving less treatment morbidity with the same oncological success-we aimed to assess the results of the new watch and wait (W&W) strategy in our cohort.

Methods: A tertiary care cohort study was conducted. New patients with rectal adenocarcinoma up to 6 cm from the anal margin, cM0, locally staged higher than cT1N0, evaluated between November 2014 and October 2018, were included.

The evidence base for micronutrient powder (MNP) interventions predominantly consists of quantitative studies focused on measuring coverage, utilization, and/or biological outcomes. We need other types of studies to broaden the scope of our knowledge about determinants of MNP programme effectiveness. Addressing this knowledge gap, this paper focuses on the process of designing an ethnographic research protocol to obtain caregivers' perspectives on the factors that influenced their use of intervention delivery services and their adherence to MNP recommendations.

Background And Purpose: Reducing radiation exposure to the temporal lobes could be beneficial to preserve cognitive function in paediatric brain tumour patients. The distribution of doses to brain substructures associated with cognition (BSCs) both within and outside of the temporal lobe have not been reported. The aim of this study was therefore to investigate temporal lobe sparing photon vs.

Several brain substructures associated with cognition (BSCs) are located close to typical pediatric brain tumors. Pediatric patients therefore have considerable risks of neurocognitive impairment after brain radiotherapy. In this study, we investigated the radiation doses received by BSCs for three common locations of pediatric brain tumor entities.

Background: Early-stage oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) can currently be treated by surgical resection or definitive radiotherapy (RT). The aim of this study is to review the outcomes of early-stage OPSCC submitted to surgery or primary RT. Preliminary results have shown similar overall survival (OS) and locoregional recurrence-free survival (LRFS).
