Background: Equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives seek to embed the concept of inclusive pedagogy to promote inclusive educational environments. However, no evidence synthesis exists which examines whether and how the concept of inclusive pedagogy is addressed in online simulation-based learning in the undergraduate nursing education literature.
Aims: To map the evidence regarding the adoption of inclusive pedagogy in online simulation-based learning in undergraduate nursing education.
Background: All healthcare professional education programmes must adopt a systematic approach towards ensuring graduates achieve the competencies required to be an evidence-based practitioner. While a list of competencies for evidence-based practice exist, health care educators continue to struggle with effectively integrating the necessary competencies into existing curricula. This paper presents a rapid realist review protocol that will systematically review the literature that examines QCP-Ms in practice; what worked, or did not work for whom, in what contexts, to what extent, how and why? The review will explore if there are benefits of using the QCP-Ms and what are the contexts in which these mechanisms are triggered. The essence of this rapid realist review is to ascertain how a change in context generates a particular mechanism that produces specific outcomes.

Our appreciation for just how large (n = 70), conserved, complex, and dynamic IF genes and proteins are became even sharper upon completion of the human genome project. Recent studies evidenced a role for K14-dependent disulfide bonding in the organization and dynamics of keratin IFs in skin keratinocytes. Human papillomaviruses (HPVs) are frequently integrated in HPV-associated cancers. HPV genomes can be integrated in three patterns: A single integrated HPV genome (type I), multiple, tandemly integrated HPV genomes (type II), and multiple, tandemly integrated HPV genomes interspersed with host DNA (type III). One member of the CRL4 complex, the WD-40 containing protein RepID (DCAF14/PHIP), selectively binds and activates a group of replication origins. Here we show that RepID recruits the CRL4 complex to chromatin prior to DNA synthesis, thus playing a crucial architectural role in the proper licensing of chromosomes for replication.

Background: Human metapneumovirus (hMPV) causes a spectrum of respiratory disease ranging from trivial coryzal symptoms to fatal pneumonia, with a predilection for the very young, the immune suppressed and the frail elderly. Five distinct lineages of the virus genome have been described.
Objectives: To develop and evaluate a sensitive, real-time PCR (RT-PCR) assay capable of detecting all lineages of hMPV, suitable for use in a diagnostic laboratory.
