Objective: To assess rates of breast and cervical cancer screening at student-run free clinics to understand challenges and strategies for advancing quality and accessibility of women's health screening.
Methods: The authors performed a systematic search of publications in Ovid MEDLINE, PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases from database inception to 2020. English-language publications assessing rates of breast and cervical cancer screening in student-run free clinics were included.
Quality measurement is an intrinsic component of value-based purchasing, yet the quality measures currently in use for Value-Based Purchasing Programs (VBPs) are generally derived from a potpourri of measures originally built for other purposes. Only a handful of VBPs have definitively shown savings or expanded nationally. We suggest that to shift the health care reimbursement system in the United States to paying for value, quality measures used in VBPs should be vetted as "fit for purpose.

Accurate diagnosis relies on multiple modalities, including neuropsychological testing, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers, and amyloid positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. Discordant results between CSF biomarkers and amyloid PET can be seen in up to 15% of cases and can lead to exclusion from clinical trials along with anxiety and confusion for the patient and family.

In the present study, SCD was inhibited by feeding sterculic oil (SO) to male Golden Syrian Hamsters fed high-fat diets with or without added dietary cholesterol. In the absence of cholesterol, SO had little impact on adipose tissue mass or plasma lipoprotein concentrations.
