Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a common disease, and intermittent claudication (IC) is a life-changing symptom. Exercise therapy has been demonstrated to be an effective treatment for IC in a supervised setting; however, most insurance carriers do not reimburse for exercise therapy.
