Background And Rationale: Treatment persistence combines clinician and patient judgment of efficacy, tolerability and safety into a comprehensive measure of effectiveness and is defined as the act of continuing a treatment over time. Studies have reported poor treatment persistence to antipsychotic medications in patients with schizophrenia.
