Background And Purpose: Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) using single-shot echo planar imaging (DW-EPI) is susceptible to distortions around air-filled cavities and dental fillings, typical for the head and neck area. Non-EPI, Split acquisition of fast spin echo signals for diffusion imaging (DWSPLICE) could reduce these distortions and enhance image quality, thereby potentially improving recurrence assessment in squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the head and neck region. Filling of the reservoir between 1971 and 1974 created a concurrent increase in lake whitefish recruitment above long-term averages. In addition, recruitment was influenced by winter drawdown levels: higher water levels during February enhanced recruitment, accounting for an additional 10% of the long-term variation in recruitment.

Methods: Seventy-eight patients with unilateral definite Menière's disease who underwent MRI were included. The parameters of Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), caloric irrigation test, cervical vestibular evoked myogenic potentials, and video Head Impulse Test were compared between the grades of endolymphatic hydrops (EH) and perilymphatic enhancement (PE) on MRI.
Objectives: The objective of this study is to report on the performance of the MRI-guided VABB in our center and to look at the long-term outcome of biopsies with benign histology over a period of 19 years.
Methods: In a single-center retrospective review study, data of 600 VABB procedures performed between September 1999 and March 2017 were evaluated. We collected patient demographics, histopathological diagnosis at MRI-VABB, and basic lesion characteristics (size, location).
This study investigated the feasibility of a 3D black-blood STIR TSE sequence with a pseudo steady-state sweep and motion-sensitized driven equilibrium pulse for extraforaminal cranial nerve imaging on a 3T system. Assessments of healthy volunteers showed near-perfect agreement in nerve visualization with excellent to good visualization of the extraforaminal trigeminal, greater occipital, and facial nerves. Suppression of surrounding tissues was excellent to good.
