The sorghum ( [L.]) agroecosystem of North America provided an opportunity to evaluate agroecosystem response to an invading insect herbivore, (Theobald) (sorghum aphid) (previously published as Zehntner) (Hemiptera: Aphididae) onto a widely planted crop that experiences a range of agro-landscape and weather conditions.
