Button mushrooms are an important protein source with a production of >48 million metric tonnes in 2021. Several life cycle assessments (LCAs) have been employed in assessing mushroom cultivation. This paper assessed potential impacts of relevant alternatives (sphagnum moss, grass fibres, spent casing and bark) to peat as casing materials for mushroom production across Europe by using LCA using a cradle to farm gate approach.

Thus, the aim of this study was to evaluate the inhibitory activity of 15 bacteriocin-producing staphylococci and mammaliicocci (BP-S/M) strains and their pre-purified extracts with butanol (BT) against a collection of 27 harmful or zoonotic strains (including Gram-positive/-negative bacteria and molds) with relevance in the public health and agro-food fields. These indicators (excluding Gram-negative strains) were grouped into seven categories based on their potential application areas: dairy livestock mastitis, avian pathogen zoonoses, swine zoonoses, food safety, aquaculture, wine making, and mushroom cultivation.

Objective: To systematically review and meta-analyze randomized clinical trials (RCTs) of interventions aimed at reducing mental health stigma in young people.
Data Sources: Comprehensive searches were conducted in the CENTRAL, CINAHL, Embase, PubMed, and PsycINFO databases from inception to February 27, 2024.
Background: Efforts to improve psychiatry training must incorporate residents' assessment of their training. This study sought to collect the opinion of residents about the program that has been in force in Spain since 2008, until the current transition to a new plan.
Methods: The authors conducted an online survey of psychiatry residents in Spain, asking about their formative and working conditions.
Seasonal snow in the extratropical Andes is a primary water source for major rivers supplying water for drinking, agriculture, and hydroelectric power in Central Chile. Here, we used estimates from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) to analyze changes in snow cover extent over the period 2001-2022 in a total of 18 watersheds spanning approximately 1,100 km across the Chilean Andes (27-36°S). We found that the annual snow cover extent is receding in the watersheds analyzed at an average pace of approximately 19% per decade.

Aim: To analyse the correlation between the physical status of a cohort of adults with haemophilia and their mental, emotional and social states regarding their treatment modality; Also, to investigate which variables are most related to quality of life (QoL), joint health and emotional, mental and social states.
Methods: In this cross-sectional, 102 adults with haemophilia divided into a prophylactic group (G1, n = 77) and on-demand group (G2, n = 25) were included.
Introduction: Since 2023, a monoclonal antibody (nirsevimab) specifically directed against the preF form of RSV has been marketed in Spain. The impact of late immunization in the population <6 months as a cause of other respiratory infections requiring a hospital visit has been analyzed.
Material And Methods: The viral etiology of acute respiratory infections (ARIs) diagnosed in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons has been prospectively compared, and in this last season between recipients and non-recipients of nirsevimab.
Background: Fertility centre websites are a key sources of information on medically assisted reproduction (MAR) for both infertile people and the general public. As part of a global fertility market, they are also a window to attract potential future patients. They give formal and practical information but in the way the information is displayed, they also convey social representations, and in particular, gender representation in its intersectional dimension.

However, excessive Mn content can lead to detrimental effects, offsetting the expected improvements. In experimental studies, triphylite NaFeMnPO has been identified as an optimal composition with enhanced electrochemical performance compared to that of its parent phase NaFePO.

Design: Case series.
Subjects: Two enucleated eyes from 2 patients treated with intravitreal pegcetacoplan.

Solid-state ionic conductors find application across various domains in materials science, particularly showcasing their significance in energy storage and conversion technologies. To effectively utilize these materials in high-performance electrochemical devices, a comprehensive understanding and precise control of charge carriers' distribution and ionic mobility at interfaces are paramount. A major challenge lies in unravelling the atomic-level processes governing ion dynamics within intricate solid and interfacial structures, such as grain boundaries and heterophases.

In a previous study, we used high-throughput yeast two-hybrid (HT-Y2H) to identify proteins in that bind to the proteins encoded by the turnip mosaic virus (TuMV) genome. Furthermore, after experimental evolution of TuMV lineages in plants with mutations in defense-related or proviral genes, most mutations observed in the evolved viruses affected the VPg cistron.

However, some detailed structural findings have received less attention. Our objective is to study an overlooked event in PanNETs: "enclosed vascular tufts" (EVTs).

Due to the high comorbidity between this disorder and axis I disorders, the aim of this work is to study differences in mentalization responses in BPD considering the different comorbidity profiles with other disorders.
Methods: A total of 141 BPD patients were evaluated using The Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI), to identify comorbid axis I disorders.
Introduction: The pleomorphic variant is the least common and consequently, the least known subtype of liposarcomas. It represents <5 % of all liposarcomas and develops during late adulthood.
Presentation Of The Case: We report the case of a 77-year-old male who presented with pain in the right iliac fossa and right inguinal region.
Nanopores are increasingly powerful tools for single molecule sensing, in particular, for sequencing DNA, RNA and peptides. This success has spurred efforts to sequence non-canonical nucleic acid bases and amino acids. While canonical DNA and RNA bases have pKas far from neutral, certain non-canonical bases, natural RNA modifications, and amino acids are known to have pKas near neutral pHs at which nanopore sequencing is typically performed.

Erythrocytes are a type of cell that deforms to squeeze through tiny capillaries; changes in their rigidity can dramatically affect their functionality.

We present an atomistic simulation of the SEI growth for one of the currently promising solid electrolytes (LiPSCl), based on ab initio-trained machine learning interatomic potentials, for over 30,000 atoms during 10 ns, well beyond the capabilities of conventional molecular dynamics. This unveils a two-step growth mechanism: a Li-argyrodite chemical reaction leading to the formation of an amorphous phase, followed by a kinetically slower crystallization of the reaction products into a 5LiS·LiP·LiCl solid solution.
