To address this, Hybprinter-SAM was developed by integrating three bioprinting technologies: syringe extrusion (SE), acoustic droplet ejection (ADE) and molten material extrusion (MME). This system not only enables the creation of mechanical gradients by integrating soft and rigid materials spanning 7 order magnitude of stiffness but also facilitates precise patterning and controlled localization of biochemical signals within printed scaffolds.

In this paper, we present our development of a room temperature printable hydrogel bioink by introducing polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate (PEGDMA) and xanthan gum into the GelMA/alginate system. The inclusion of PEGDMA facilitates tuning of the hydrogel's mechanical property, while xanthan gum improves the viscosity of the hydrogel system and allows easy extrusion at room temperature.

Methods: Using billing data from 8 acute care hospitals, we identified 9 principal medical diagnoses from International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision codes across 4 medical specialties (cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and urology).
We evaluated the effect of electron beam (E-beam) sterilization (25 kGy, ISO 11137) on the degradation of β-tricalcium phosphate/polycaprolactone (β-TCP/PCL) composite filaments of various ratios (0:100, 20:80, 40:60, and 60:40 TCP:PCL by mass) in a rat subcutaneous model for 24 weeks. Volumes of the samples before implantation and after explantation were measured using micro-computed tomography (micro-CT). The filament volume changes before sacrifice were also measured using a live micro-CT.

Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) has thus garnered interest in this setting.
Methods: A retrospective review of 26 patients of age ≥ 80 with pancreatic adenocarcinoma treated with definitive SBRT+/-chemotherapy from 2007-2011 was performed.
Purpose: To determine the optimal margin needed around the femoral vessels for appropriate inguinofemoral lymph node coverage and to propose guidelines defined by anatomic boundaries for clinical target volume delineation.
Methods And Materials: Twenty-two patients with pelvic malignancies and involved inguinal lymph nodes treated with conformal radiation therapy were selected. A 66-year-old man presented with linear lesions of 5-years duration on his right lower extremity along Blaschko's lines. Physical examination showed hyperpigmented and violaceous papules with hypopigmented centers that were surrounded by fine, raised hyperkeratototic rims. The lesions were characteristic of porokeratosis, and the diagnosis was confirmed by histopathological examination.
