Background: Narrowing, trauma, tumors, and systemic diseases can cause esophageal dysfunction. Severe cases resist traditional surgery, leading to long-term gastrostomy or jejunostomy tubes, affecting patients negatively. No established surgery ensures both airway and oral function with proper speech.
