Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the distribution of fat tissue in non-obese women with polycystic ovary syndrome and those without the syndrome using dual-energy radiological densitometry.
Methods: This was a case-control study in which we enrolled women aged 14-39 years with polycystic ovary syndrome according to the Rotterdam criteria with a body mass index between 18.5 and 30 kg/m2.

Aims: To evaluate the prevalence of hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) among postmenopausal women diagnosed with metabolic syndrome (MS) and to compare it to that of a control group without MS.
Methods: This is a cross-sectional study carried out in 2 public tertiary hospitals in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, with a sample of 291 postmenopausal women aged between 40 and 65 years. Sexual function was evaluated using the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) questionnaire and Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition, Text Revision, diagnostic criteria and was related to the diagnosis of MS, which was determined according to the guidelines defined by the Adult Treatment Panel.
Objective: To assess quality of life and climacteric symptoms for post-menopausal women receiving hormone therapy for breast cancer.
Methods: A prospective observational study of women treated at the Mastology Outpatient Clinic of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was conducted between 2015 and 2019. Post-menopausal patients who had been diagnosed with breast cancer and who were experiencing climacteric symptoms were selected.
Objective: The incidence of obesity, which is a chronic condition, has increased in recent years. The association between obesity and female sexual dysfunction remains unclear, particularly in postmenopausal women. In the present study, we evaluated whether obesity is a risk factor for sexual dysfunction in postmenopausal women.

Methods: A cross-sectional study enrolled patients aged 12-39 years, with body mass index (BMI, calculated as weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters) at least 18.5 but below 25, who attended the Endocrine Gynecology Clinic of Santa Casa de Sao Paulo School of Medical Sciences, Brazil, between January 1, 2014, and July 31, 2015.
