Edentulous patients with history of cleft palate and severe maxillary atrophy are challenging patients to rehabilitate through an oral approach. The difficulty of rehabilitating these patients lies in the unusual anatomy they present and the alteration of the vascular supply of local tissues caused by the previous performed surgeries, along with other causes. This report describes the successful dental rehabilitation with zygomatic implants of a patient with complete bilateral cleft palate who was edentulous and had severe maxillary atrophy.

Graphene oxide (GO) materials are widely studied, and yet their atomic-scale structures remain to be fully understood. Here we show that the chemical and configurational space of GO can be rapidly explored by advanced machine-learning methods, combining on-the-fly acceleration for first-principles molecular dynamics with message-passing neural-network potentials. The first step allows for the rapid sampling of chemical structures with very little prior knowledge required; the second step affords state-of-the-art accuracy and predictive power.

The present longitudinal study is aimed to (1) investigate the association between preoperative body image and postoperative psychological symptoms in breast cancer patients; (2) explore the impact of pre-/post-surgery variation in body image on psychological symptomatology.
Methods: = 72 women undergoing breast cancer surgery were preoperatively screened (T1) using the Body Uneasiness Test (BUT) and were assessed postoperatively (T2) using the Symptom Checklist-90 Revised (SCL-90-R) and re-administered the BUT.
SnO has received great attention as an electrocatalyst for CO reduction reaction (CORR), however; it still suffers from low activity. Moreover, the atomic-level SnO structure and the nature of the active sites are still ambiguous due to the dynamism of surface structure and difficulty in structure characterization under electrochemical conditions.
