Objective: To evaluate a proposal for teaching entrepreneurship in an undergraduate Nursing course that uses active methodologies and activities based on the theory of meaningful learning.
Methods: Interventional, prospective study, with a quantitative perspective, with a total of 102 participating students, carried out from July 2017 to December 2019 at a public university in the state of Sao Paulo. Statistical analysis were performed by non-parametric Chi-square or Fisher's exact tests, with differences considered statistically significant if p < 0.
Objectives: to validate and apply a change-of-shift instrument using the SBAR (Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation) tool.
Methods: methodological study for the validation of an instrument. It was validated by ten judges from the area of nursing teaching and care and applied in a surgical gastroenterology ward by 11 nursing technicians in February 2019.
Objectives: to understand the experience of nurses with nursing consultations in the context of the Family Health Strategy and propose a representative model.
Methods: qualitative research using Grounded Theory, with 14 nurses working through non-directive interviews. For data analysis, three stages were used: open, axial and selective coding, which originated phenomena, themes, categories and subcategories, which supported the construction of the central category and, consequently, the theoretical model.
Objective: To identify and analyze the production of knowledge in national and international literature on patient absenteeism in scheduled medical consultations.
Method: This is an integrative literature review in the databases PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Web of Science, CINAHL, Medline, LILACS, Virtual Health Library of the São Paulo State Department of Health and Spanish Bibliographic Index in Health Sciences, accessed through the Virtual Health Library Portal, based on the guiding question.
Results: A total of 767 articles was found and nine were selected.

Methods: content analysis and action research for the collective construction of an educational intervention addressing management practices and their association with transformational leadership. The setting was the emergency and intensive care network, and nine nurse managers participated in the research.
Objective: This study aimed to identify the treatment demands coming from primary health care units and, based on that, the demand for referrals to medical specialties in reference services. This study is justified by the scarcity of scientific literature on the subject.
Methods: This is a cross-sectional study using secondary data on the treatments and referrals made by the primary health care units, throughout 2014, in a municipality of the State of São Paulo, Brazil.
Objective: To compare hospital indicators before and after implementing an Internal Bed Regulation Committee at a reference hospital.
Methods: It is an quantitative, evaluation, exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional research. The data was gathered from the hospital administrative reports for the period 2008-2013, provided by the Information Technology Center of the Complexo FAMEMA.
Objective: This research aimed to understand the motivation for reporting adverse events from the perspective of nursing staff in the work environment.
Method: Qualitative study that used the phenomenology of Alfred Schutz for reference, which offers a systematic approach to understand the social aspects of human action. Data were collected by open interviews with 17 nurses and 14 technicians/assistant nurses in a university hospital.
The occupational hazards to which nursing professionals are subject while performing their duties are considerable. This study aims to analyze accidents with cutting and piercing instruments involving the nursing team of a university hospital that occurred between 2002 and 2006 in order to understand the context in which they happened. The use of such information can be a prevention tool.

The evaluation has found practices to facilitate breastfeeding, but some changes in the hospital routines in order to meet the "ten steps" must be made. On average, 79% of the answers were positive for the compliance with the "ten steps", which is close to the 80% suggested.
