Peer mentoring experience related to information and communication technologies. A qualitative study.

Introduction: Quality and inclusive education must include Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), which is a growing trend in educational environments since the COVID-19 pandemic. These technologies have transformed learning towards more collaborative and interactive models, but they also pose a barrier due to the lack of skills or knowledge about their use. This circumstance has been identified among some first-year nursing students.

Influence of gestational weight gain on the nutritional status of offspring at birth and at 5 years of age.

Objective: To determine the influence of pre-pregnancy maternal BMI and increases in maternal weight during pregnancy on perinatal and child outcomes at birth and at 5 years.

Research Design/setting: A prospective cohort study was conducted between November 2016 and December 2021. The participants were a total of 115 women-child dyads, selected from among pregnant women receiving routine prenatal care in different health centres belonging to 2 health districts.

The Effects of the Pilates Method on Pelvic Floor Injuries during Pregnancy and Childbirth: A Quasi-Experimental Study.

The perineal injuries suffered during childbirth have a great impact on the quality of life of the female population. Evidence suggests that the Pilates method is used by pregnant women to improve the physical and psychological outcomes of pregnancy. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of the Pilates Method during pregnancy on the incidence and degree of intrapartum perineal trauma.
