Objective: This study aimed to analyze and compare the organization and care offered by Primary Health Care (PHC) to people with suspected and/or diagnosed COVID-19 in Brazilian municipalities, considering the Human Development Index (HDI).
Methods: This is an analytical cross-sectional study carried out with managers of PHC services in Brazilian municipalities. The data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire via Google Forms between April and September 2022 and were analyzed using prevalence ratios, using a Poisson regression model with a random effect and a 5% significance level.
Background: Climate change has serious consequences for the morbidity and mortality of older adults.
Objective: To identify the effects of climate change on older people's health.
Methods: A scoping review was conducted following the Joanna Briggs Institute guidelines and the PRISMA-ScR checklist.
Background: Previous research in nursing has found favorable results from the use of teaching methodologies alternative to lectures. One of the complementary methodologies used for university teaching is gamification, or the inclusion of game elements, creating a dynamic learning environment that allows the acquisition of knowledge and the development of other skills necessary for nursing students. Objectives: This study aimed to: i) investigate nursing students' attitudes towards and awareness of climate change and sustainability issues and its inclusion in nurse education, ii) explore differences across a range of countries, and iii) compare attitudes in 2019 with those of a similar sample in 2014.
Background: Previous educational programs about sexuality and contraceptive methods are delivered through vertical teaching methodology and use an increase in knowledge level as an indicator of effectiveness; however, attitudes towards contraceptive use are not addressed.
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of a peer-educational intervention to improve knowledge level and attitudes regarding contraceptive methods in university students.
Design: A pre-post quasi-experimental study.

The use of digital technologies and teaching via E-learning has grown, and has been widely adopted as a learning method for nursing.
Objectives: The aim of the current study was to test and evaluate digital educational materials on environmental sustainability and health, in the context of university nursing education in different European countries.

Design: Qualitative methodology (exploratory study).
Location: Urban basic health zone (16,000 inhabitants, 40% ZNTS).
Objectives: To identify the motivations (beliefs, values) for adolescent pregnancy among girls aged less than 17 years old.
Method: We performed a phenomenological qualitative study with audio recording of in-depth interviews with 12 pregnant adolescents between March and September 2008. Purposive sampling of pregnant adolescents (14-16 years) in the high-risk obstetric unit of the Hospital of Jaen (Spain) was performed, using education, voluntariness of pregnancy, urban-rural setting of the family residence and family socioeconomic status as heterogeneity criteria.
Objective: To determine the motivations (attitudes, beliefs and experiences) for tobacco consumption among adolescents.
Methods: This study was based on qualitative methodology using six 50-minute discussion groups with 6-8 adolescents per group during the 2008/09 school year. Purposive sampling was performed of 12-18 year-old adolescents attending a middle-class urban school (Jaén, Spain).
