Neuropathies secondary to tophus compression in gout patients are well known; however, limited data exist on other types of peripheral neuropathies (PN). Objective: Decreased serum concentrations of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) affect people with chronic kidney disease (CKD); lower concentrations of 25(OH)D have been associated with decrease in nutritional status indicators. Aim: Rheumatic diseases have repercussions in hand function.
