We treated 38 shoulders with Bankart technique and thermal capsulorraphy, and evaluated clinical results at a mean of 23 months. Arthroscopy demonstrated a Bankart lesion in 28 shoulders, and anteroinferior capsular laxity, without a Bankart lesion in 10 shoulders. For the remainder inferior capsular redundancy, capsulorrhaphy was carried out in the area of the axillary recess.

Hemangiomas are abnormal blood vessel proliferations representing the 4th most common tumor of the hand and are frequent among women in their twenties. The case of a 27-year-old woman with a lobular capillary hemangioma in the index finger that appeared during the second month of pregnancy is presented. There are reports stating that these tumors may change their course as a result of various factors such as estrogen or progesterone.
