Hospitalizations sensitive to primary health care at a regional hospital in the Federal District.

Objective: to characterize hospitalizations for sensitive conditions to primary care of a regional hospital in the Federal District.

Method: this is a descriptive study, such as case series that considered users admitted between 2008 and 2012 in the Regional Hospital of Ceilândia. The selection of hospitalizations was based on the Brazilian List, and the data were obtained from the Hospital information System.

To investigate close to the new students in Nursing of a particular university of the São Paulo city, how was their insertion in this course, a exploratory descriptive study was achieved. The answers of 33 students had indicated that they were young adults, female, married, without children and in their majority they were workers. Many of them live in the region of the university, they have education in the intermediate level in public school, their insertion in higher education occur in the majority of cases after two semesters or more of the conclusion of intermediate education and they had known the course through people and for the medias.

[Insertion of graduate nursing professionals from a public university in a metropolitan, industrial area of the State of São Paulo (Grande ABC) in the labor market].

To investigate with Nursing graduates from UniABC the way in which they entered the labor market a descriptive, retrospective, exploratory study was performed. Answers from 80 former students indicated that they are young adults, female, single, with no children, having previously worked in the health area. Many of them held a diploma of Nursing Specialist and were participating in continuous education courses.
