[Mucormycosis. Clinical cases and update].

Mucormycosis is an emerging mycotic infection with high mortality. We described the clinical presentation, evolution and treatment of 5 patients with diagnosis of mucormycosis.

Tigecycline (TGC), a glycylcycline, has expanded activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative, anaerobic, and atypical bacteria. Two phase 3 studies were conducted.
