Article Synopsis
  • Cataract surgery with an intraocular lens implant is the most common surgical procedure globally, and the success relies heavily on accurately calculating the lens's dioptric power.
  • This study aims to compare the dioptric power calculation in cataract patients with and without pupil dilation by analyzing various factors like age, gender, and biometry.
  • The results showed no significant differences in dioptric power calculations between the two groups, indicating that pupil dilation does not significantly impact the accuracy of these calculations.
