Abnormalities of corpus callosum are one of the most common brain anomalies. Fetuses with isolated corpus callosum agenesis (CCA) have a better prognosis than those with additional anomalies. It is considered a lethal condition as there are only few reports of survival but there was at least one case of long-term survival after neonatal surgery.Differential diagnosis includes isolated omphalocele or gastroschisis, short umbilical cord, amniotic band, limb body-wall complex and other polymalformative syndromes.

We describe a conservative laparoscopic approach to treatment of a perforated pyomyoma after uterine artery embolization. A 36-year-old woman came to our emergency department 8 weeks after undergoing uterine artery embolization. She reported painful abdominal cramps.
