Hyaluronan (HA), a major component of the cutaneous extracellular-matrix, is involved in tissue repair. Human skin is exposed to and damaged by UVB-irradiation. Here, we investigate the regulation of HA metabolism in human skin during acute UVB-induced inflammation.
