Experiences and expectations of residents and professionals of supported accommodations for people with serious mental disorders in Portugal.

Purpose: Most studies on supported accommodations (SAs) for people with serious mental disorders have focused on effectiveness. Very few analysed the experiences and expectations of residents and professionals of SAs, which is fundamental to improving care. This study aimed to explore in depth the perspectives of residents and professionals of SAs in Portugal regarding the residents' previous contacts with mental health services, current experiences, and expectations.

Purpose: To investigate the risk factors related to decrease in vessel density (VD) observed in primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), due to acute increase in intraocular pressure (IOP) by an ophthalmodynamometer (OPD).

Methods: This cross-sectional study involved 42 eyes of participants (22 Controls and 20 POAG patients) that underwent optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) to assess VD in the peripapillary region in three examination sets: primary gaze position (1), 25-degree adduction (2) and 25-degree adduction with OPD compression (3). Several studies have demonstrated the correlation between Doppler velocimetric parameters of testicular artery and semen quality in domestic species, but in felines data are scarce. The aim of this article is to study mental health conditions among survivors of severe physical intimate partner violence (IPV) and their utilisation of mental health services. This study is an integrated part of the World Mental Health Survey Initiative-Portugal, for which data was collected from a nationally representative adult sample using well-validated scales. Logistic regression models were used in the analysis.

Among the different surface modification techniques, micro-arc oxidation (MAO) is explored for its ability to enhance the surface properties of Ti alloys by creating a controlled and durable oxide layer. The incorporation of Cu ions during the MAO process introduces additional functionalities to the surface, offering improved corrosion resistance and antimicrobial activity. In this study, the β-metastable Ti-30Nb-5Mo alloy was oxidated through the MAO method to create a Cu-doped TiO coating.
