However, the mechanisms leading to this dysfunction in microRNAs in adipose tissue (adipomiRs) during aging are not well understood.

Exploring determinants of, and interventions for, delayed presentation of women with breast symptoms: A systematic review.

Purpose: Behaviour change interventions are more likely to be effective if they are sensitive to contextual determinants of behaviour. Delayed presentation of women with breast symptoms is a concern for both high-income and low- and medium-income countries. Our aim was to integrate evidence on determinants of time to presentation of women with breast symptoms with complementary evidence on interventions for promoting early presentation.

This paper reports on a longitudinal follow-up evaluation of an interprofessional experiential course to support the development of effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills in palliative care: 'It's good to listen: advanced communication skills in end of life care'. The course was developed from evidence-based guidance produced by the West of Scotland Cancer Network and NHS Education for Scotland in 2009. The aim of the study was to explore the factors that support or hinder the sustainable integration of skills and learning from the course into clinical practice.

Objective: To explore the nature, meaning and perceived origin of women's mental images of their breast cancer.

Methods: Fifteen women, who had completed treatment for primary breast cancer, participated in this qualitative in-depth interview study. Data were analysed using a constant comparative technique within the "Framework" method.
