Background: Following acute and sub-acute rehabilitation from severe traumatic brain injury (TBI), minimal to no efficacious interventions to treat ongoing cognitive deficits are available. Aerobic exercise is a non-invasive behavioral intervention with promise to treat cognitive deficits in TBI populations.
Methods: Six individuals, aged 24-62 years, with chronic (> 8 months since injury) severe (Glasgow Coma Scale of 3-8) TBI were recruited from two outpatient rehabilitation centers.
Objectives: The behaviors and attitudes associated with event attendance and engagement in physical and sporting activities exert a significant impact on planetary health. This scoping review aims to scrutinize existing literature, elucidate concepts, investigate methodologies, and identify knowledge gaps pertaining to physical activity behavior within the context of planetary health.
Design & Methods: A systematic search across PsycINFO (Psychological Information), Web of Science, and Scopus, guided by Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis Guidelines for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) guidelines, yielded 62 relevant studies.

The pulse arrival time (PAT) has been considered a surrogate measure for pulse wave velocity (PWV), although some studies have noted that this parameter is not accurate enough. Moreover, the inter-beat interval (IBI) time series obtained from successive pulse wave arrivals can be employed as a surrogate measure of the RR time series avoiding the use of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. The latter are rapidly accessed valid precursors for the Scholl reaction, and screening of experimental conditions allowed us to describe for the first time furanol-bearing PAHs. In team sports, load management has become one of the most common areas of investigation, given that effective control over load is the key to being able to optimize performance and avoid injuries. Despite the constant evolution and innovation in the latest theories, we can see a clear tendency in load management that focuses on physiological and mechanical aspects and neglects its cognitive character, which generates the variability inherent in the performance of athletes in a changing environment.
