In this Letter we try to search for signals generated by ultraheavy dark matter at the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) data. We look for possible γ rays by dark matter annihilation or decay from 16 dwarf spheroidal galaxies in the field of view of the LHAASO. Dwarf spheroidal galaxies are among the most promising targets for indirect detection of dark matter that have low fluxes of astrophysical γ-ray background while having large amount of dark matter.

The subcortical maternal complex (SCMC), which is vital in oocyte maturation and embryogenesis, consists of core proteins (NLRP5, TLE6, OOEP), non-core proteins (PADI6, KHDC3L, NLRP2, NLRP7), and other unknown proteins that are encoded by maternal effect genes. Some variants of SCMC genes have been linked to female infertility characterized by embryonic development arrest. However, so far, the candidate non-core SCMC components associated with embryonic development need further exploration and the pathogenic variants that have been identified are still limited.

Inspired by the versatility of the direct laser writing carbonization (DLWc) technique as well as the metal-ion-assisted coordination polymer of 3,4,9,10-perylene tetracarboxylic dianhydride (PTCDA), in the present study, we present a DLWc-enabled approach for cost-effectively fabricating a poly-peri-naphthalene (PPN) thin film with the advantages of patternability, environmental benignity, and scalability. Optical and scanning electron microscopy, as well as ultraviolet-visible-near-infrared, Fourier transform infrared, Raman, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopies, were performed to confirm that the spray-coated thin film of the Mg-PTCDA coordination polymer can be in situ converted into a PPN thin film upon CO laser irradiation. The effects of the laser power and Mg concentration on the structure and electrical properties of the laser-processed PPN thin films were investigated.

Fabricating covalent organic frameworks with different morphologies based on the same structural motifs is both interesting and challenging. Here, a TTA-TFP-COF was synthesized by both solvothermal and room temperature methods, with 2,4,6-Tris(4-aminophenyl)-1,3,5-triazine (TTA) and 1,3,5-tris(4-formylphenyl)-benzene (TFP) as raw material. Using different synthesis conditions and adding aniline and benzaldehyde as regulators in the synthesis process, we found that these processes could slow down the reaction speed, increase the exchange and metathesis reactions of dynamic reversible reactions, and improve the reversibility of the reaction system.
