Background And Purpose: The addition of interstitial needles to intracavitary gynecologic (GYN) high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy has been shown to improve target coverage and organs-at-risk (OAR) sparing. However, no commercial solution allows real-time guidance of interstitial catheter placement. This phantom study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of an electromagnetic (EM) tracking system guidance workflow for GYN HDR brachytherapy treatment in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and real-time transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) fusion scenario.

Background: Following SARS-CoV-2 infection a significant proportion of convalescent individuals develop the post-COVID condition (PCC) that is characterized by wide spectrum of symptoms encompassing various organs. Even though the underlying pathophysiology of PCC is not known, detection of viral transcripts and antigens in tissues other than lungs raise the possibility that PCC may be a consequence of aberrant immune response to the viral antigens. To test this hypothesis, we evaluated B cell and antibody responses to the SARS-CoV-2 antigens in PCC patients who experienced mild COVID-19 disease during the pre-vaccination period of COVID-19 pandemic.

Comparison of nimodipine formulations and administration techniques via enteral feeding tubes in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage: A multicenter retrospective cohort study.

This material has been obtained as pure germania as well as silica-germania zeolites with different Si/Ge ratios using a diquaternary ammonium cation as organic structure directing agent. Antibiotic prescribing patterns for adult urinary tract infections within emergency department and urgent care settings.

Urinary tract infections (UTI) are a common reason for emergency department (ED) and urgent care (UC) visits. Fluoroquinolones (FQ) are frequently prescribed for treatment of UTI in the outpatient setting; however, data evaluating prescribing patterns after FDA safety warnings is limited, especially in UC. The study goal was to investigate and compare antimicrobial prescribing for UTIs in a single-site ED and an off-site UC in an urban, academic health system.

Development of the User Requirements for the Canadian WildFireSat Satellite Mission.

In 2019 the Canadian Space Agency initiated development of a dedicated wildfire monitoring satellite (WildFireSat) mission. The intent of this mission is to support operational wildfire management, smoke and air quality forecasting, and wildfire carbon emissions reporting. In order to deliver the mission objectives, it was necessary to identify the technical and operational challenges which have prevented broad exploitation of Earth Observation (EO) in Canadian wildfire management and to address these challenges in the mission design.
