AQP3 mediates autophagy through SIRT1/p62 signal to alleviate intestinal epithelial cell damage caused by sepsis.

Background: Autophagy damage will aggravate intestinal damage caused by sepsis. Studies have shown that the activation of AQP3 and SIRT1 signals can reduce the inflammatory response of sepsis. However, their role and mechanism in intestinal injury in the late stage of sepsis are not deeply studied.

Effect of amubarvimab-romlusevimab for treatment of severe COVID-19 in intensive care units: A retrospective cohort study.

Amubarvimab-romlusevimab is a commonly recommended antiviral treatment in China for adult patients with mild or moderate SARS-CoV-2 infections, especially for patients with a high risk factor for progression to severe COVID-19. However, its exact efficacy in patients with severe Covid-19 is not yet known.This is a single-center retrospective cohort study, in which we collected the general data, laboratory tests, radiological characteristics, viral conversion status, and prognosis of the disease from patients with COVID-19 hospitalized, from December 2022 to March 2023 in the Department of Critical Care Medicine.

Successful treatment of severe pneumonia in a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patient after R-CHOP chemotherapy: A case report.

R-CHOP chemotherapy has been established as the first-line standard treatment for elderly patients diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. However, an increased risk of pneumonia in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients after the rituximab-based chemotherapy has been reported. We describe a case who developed intermittent cough, fever and shortness of breath after five cycles of R-CHOP treatment for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

The effect of ventilator-associated pneumonia on the prognosis of intensive care unit patients within 90 days and 180 days.

Background: Mechanical ventilation (MV) is often applied in critically ill patients in intensive care unit (ICU) to protect the airway from aspiration, and supplement more oxygen. MV may result in ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) in ICU patients. This study was to estimate the 90-day and 180-day mortalities of ICU patients with VAP, and to explore the influence of VAP on the outcomes of ICU patients.

[The clinical feature of laryngeal neuroendocrine neoplasms].

Objective: To study the clinical manifestation, diagnosis and treatment of laryngeal neuroendocrine neoplasms.

Method: Three cases of laryngeal neuroendocrine neoplasms were analyzed, of which two cases were diagnosed as atypical carcinoids with radical surgery and neck dissection, another case was diagnosed as asparaganglioma through local neoplastic removal.

Result: Two patients of atypical carcinoids are in a good condition after following up one year and another patient of asparaganglioma is with good prognosis after following up eleven years.

[The treatment of nasal (nasal-type) NK-T cell lymphoma].

Objective: To discuss the treatment of nasal (nasal-type) NK-T cell lymphoma.

Method: From 1993 to 2000, there were twenty one nasal (nasal-type) NK-T cell lymphoma patients treated in our department, three patients were treated with only radiotherapy, eighteen patients were treated combination radiotherapy with chemotherapy, and all patients were followed up for 1-8 years.

Result: Eleven patients completely alleviated, six patients partial alleviated, four aggravated and two died.
