Objectives: Cochlear implantation (CI) is a surgical intervention used to rehabilitate hearing in individuals, both pediatric and adult, with severe hearing loss. Cochlear implantation is a safe, popular procedure for severe hearing loss in both children and adults. Complications are categorized as major and minor, with hematomas and seromas being minor.
