Introduction: Guselkumab, a human monoclonal antibody targeting the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23), has shown efficacy in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. However, long-term real-world data on its effectiveness in patients with inadequate response to ustekinumab are limited. This study investigates guselkumab's long-term effectiveness and safety in patients with psoriasis with partial response to ustekinumab.

Magnetic Resonance-Guided Stereotactic Radioablation for Septal Ventricular Tachycardias.

Background: Stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation (STAR) was introduced to treat ventricular tachycardia (VT) refractory to catheter ablation. No data are now available in the septal VT substrate setting, representing a challenge when using conventional techniques.

Objectives: This study sought to evaluate the arrhythmic burden in patients with septal VT treated with magnetic resonance-guided STAR (MRgSTAR).

Evolving Nursing Research Priorities: A Unified Vision for Advancing the Nursing Profession.

The American Nurses Association Enterprise (ANA Enterprise) Research Advisory Council plays a vital role in bringing nursing voices together and shaping the dynamic landscape of nursing research. Historically, its priorities have revolved around 4 pivotal research priorities: advancing research capacity, promoting interprofessional collaboration, enhancing data structures and governance, and propelling practice-based nursing research. In a remarkable transition, the 2024 Research Priorities of the ANA Enterprise Research Advisory Council align with the vision and strategic goals of the ANA Enterprise.

A Path Forward in Nurse-Led Research: Turning Priorities Into Actionable Items.

To raise nurses' voices and promote nurse-led research, the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Research Council 2022 Research Priorities included disseminating a research agenda for practice-based research, promoting interprofessional research, and encouraging equitable and inclusive participation on research teams. Expressions of nurses from around the world, however, described how organizational constraints and financial barriers are real challenges that nurse researchers must face, along with forming interdisciplinary teams to work with human subjects. Entities doing research seem to have a heavy focus on academic research where clinical bedside nurses feel separated from nursing research.

Syphilitic balanitis of Follmann in a patient with a history of previous infection.

We report a case of syphilitic balanitis of Follmann arising in a man with a history of prior infection with syphilis. Few cases have been described in the literature. In our case, a man with history of multiple unprotected sexual contacts presented with erosive balanitis and painless inguinal bilateral lymphadenopathy.

Establishing a Pathway to Excellence® Research Agenda: A Delphi Study to Identify Research Priorities for Evaluating Positive Practice Environments.

Objective: The aim of this study was to develop research priorities for positive practice environments identified by Pathway to Excellence® (Pathway) leaders and appraisers.

Background: Identifying research priorities achieves 2 goals: 1) advancing research agendas that impact improving practice environments, and nurse and patient outcomes; and 2) informing nursing leaders, researchers, and funders of potential research projects to conduct and support.

Methods: Research topics related to the 6 Pathway standards were developed and then rated for importance through 3 rounds of a Delphi survey by leaders at Pathway-designated organizations and Pathway appraisers.

The 2022 ANCC Institute for Credentialing Research and Quality Management Priorities: A Path Forward in Nurse-Led Research.

It is imperative that we listen to our nation's nurses, who have a unique vantage point from their clinical environments. Clinical research nurses have greatly contributed to studying the delivery of care over the years; however, since 2020, COVID-19 has brought unprecedented changes within the nursing profession. Each wave of the pandemic has created a worrisome landscape where nurse researchers face multiple challenges in implementing and funding practice-based nursing-led research projects.

Assessment of sinecatechins 10% ointment used as proactive sequential therapy in recurrence rate of genital warts lesions after cryotherapy. The PACT-II Trial (postablation immunomodulator treatment of condylomata with sinecatechins): a prospective assessor-blinded, multicenter, pilot trial.

Background: Cryotherapy is commonly used as ablative treatment of external genital warts (EGW). However, after cryotherapy recurrence of lesions affects on average 45% (42-70%) of subjects in the 6 months after the treatment. Sinecatechins 10% are an effective topical treatment of EGW.

Development and validation of a nomogram incorporating gene expression profiling and clinical factors for accurate prediction of metastasis in patients with cutaneous melanoma following Mohs micrographic surgery.

Background: There is a need to improve prognostic accuracy for patients with cutaneous melanoma. A 31-gene expression profile (31-GEP) test uses the molecular biology of primary tumors to identify individual patient metastatic risk.

Objective: Develop a nomogram incorporating 31-GEP with relevant clinical factors to improve prognostic accuracy.

Super-high magnification dermoscopy can aid the differential diagnosis between melanoma and atypical naevi.

Background: Dermoscopy is the most widely used noninvasive imaging technique for the clinical diagnosis of melanoma (MM). Super-high (× 400) magnification dermoscopy (D400) has recently been developed; compared with traditional dermoscopy, it can reveal additional features, down to the identification of single melanocytes in the skin.

Objectives: To evaluate which structures are visible at D400 and to compare them in atypical naevi and MMs.

Hemodynamic Response to Exercise in Patients Supported by Continuous Flow Left Ventricular Assist Devices.

Objectives: This study sought to characterize the hemodynamic response to exercise in LVAD-supported patients and identify parameters most strongly associated with peak oxygen consumption (VO).

Background: Despite improved survival for heart failure patients afforded by continuous flow left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), peak exercise capacity remains impaired. Mechanisms underlying this reduced functional capacity remain poorly understood.

Primary Care Providers' Perspectives on Prescribing Antidepressant Medication to Latino Immigrant Patients: A Preliminary Study.

Latinos in the United States are less likely to take antidepressants than non-Latino whites, and more likely to prefer depression treatment in primary care. This preliminary study comprised focus groups (2) with primary care providers (12) serving uninsured immigrant Latinos regarding their experiences prescribing and counseling patients about antidepressants. Barriers and challenges included health literacy, language barriers, and illiteracy; perceived stigma; patients' concerns about addiction, polypharmacy, and adverse effects; time constraints of office visits; and difficulty discussing comorbid posttraumatic stress disorder.

Long-term clinical outcomes of patients with invasive cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma treated with Mohs micrographic surgery: A 5-year, multicenter, prospective cohort study.

Background: Outcomes for patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) treated with Mohs micrographic surgery (MS) in the United States have never been prospectively defined. Risk factors as they relate to outcomes are primarily derived from single-institution, retrospective data without regard for treatment modality. The American Joint Committee on Cancer Staging Manual, Eighth Edition, and the Brigham and Women's Hospital T staging systems have not been prospectively validated.

Treatment of depression and PTSD in primary care clinics serving uninsured low-income mostly Latina/o immigrants: A naturalistic prospective evaluation.

Objectives: Uninsured immigrants to the United States are psychologically vulnerable due to limited access to mental health services. Latina/o immigrants from Central and South America are further at risk due to high levels of trauma exposure, both in their country of origin and their adopted country. Effective behavioral interventions in primary care are needed to address this services gap for common trauma-related mental disorders, including depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

How transparent film applied on dermatologic imaging devices in order to prevent infections affects image quality?

Background: In the clinical practice, transparent films are used as sterile interfaces in in vivo dermatologic imaging in order to prevent the transmissions of infections. However, in our experience, the use of a transparent film can alter skin images. Our study aimed to compare the optical quality of a series of different plastic films used as interfaces in order to understand if some might be more suitable for imaging.

Self-care Habits of Nurses and the Perception of Their Body Image.

The aim of this qualitative, phenomenological study was to explore the self-care habits of nurses in the hospital setting and how these habits influenced the perception of body image. The nursing profession often requires the nurse to place the health of patients before their own. Very little information is found in the literature regarding the self-care habits of nurses.

Sinecatechins 10% ointment for genital warts: Case report of a beneficial reaction in an HIV-positive woman.

Patients with HIV infection are more likely to develop anogenital warts compared to HIV-negative people and are susceptible to treatment failures and recurrences. We report a case of extensive vulvar warts in an HIV-positive woman successfully treated with sinecatechins ointment. After the failure of a combination of cryotherapy and imiquimod 5% cream, we started therapy with sinecatechins 10% ointment.

Benign and malignant collision tumors of melanocytic skin lesions with hemangioma: Dermoscopic and reflectance confocal microscopy features.

Background: Though the combination/collision of nevi or lentigo simplex and hemangiomas is frequent, the malignant collision tumor melanoma-hemangioma is exceptional and can sometime clinically simulate a benign collision. To date, a series of collision tumors of hemangiomas associated with either benign or malignant melanocytic skin lesions (MSL) has yet to be studied by non-invasive imaging and clinico-pathologic correlates.

Methods: We present 10 cases of patients with collision tumors of hemangioma with different MSL including: 2 in situ lentigo-maligna melanoma, 1 invasive melanoma, 5 melanocytic nevi, and 2 lentigo simplex.

Syphilitic alopecia: uncommon trichoscopic findings.

Syphilitic alopecia (SA) is considered an uncommon manifestation of secondary syphilis. SA can present in a diffuse form, resembling telogen effluvium, or in a moth-eaten form that mimics a variety of conditions (i.e.
