For bone formation in critical-sized or poor healing defects, osteoinductive behavior of synthetic bone grafts is crucial. Although the osteoconductive behavior of calcium phosphate (CaP) cement is generally accepted, its osteoinductive potential is less reported. In this study, osteoinduction of porous CaP cement was investigated.
