What does a postcolonial inquiry into technoscience do? And what is it for? I develop these questions by reconsidering one powerful idea: that science and technology studies (STS) is postcolonial when it elucidates the hybridity, heterogeneity, and indeterminacy of global technoscientific formations, and does so to falsify colonial fantasies of hegemony expressed in imperious conceptual generalities and sovereign universalisms. Revisiting Warwick Anderson's expositions of postcolonial STS-initiated in this journal two decades ago-I reflect on the form and force of this critical operation. Despite an animating aversion to universalisms, the pursuit of hybridity and heterogeneity may ultimately universalize a liberal metaphysics of agency.

Introduction: G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are the target of one-third of all approved drugs; however, these drugs only target about one-eighth of the human repertoire of GPCRs. GPCRs regulate a diverse range of critical physiological processes including organ development, cardiovascular function, mood, cognition, multicellularity, cellular motility, immune responses and sensation of light, taste, and odor. However, many GPCRs are expressed poorly, and a significant proportion have unknown ligands and unclear signaling pathways.

Knee revision using constrained implants is associated with greater stresses on the implant and interface surfaces. The management of osteoarthritis of the knee associated with patellar instability secondary to external tibial torsion > 45 degrees is challenging. Patellofemoral biomechanics in these patients cannot be achieved by intra-articular correction using standard techniques of total knee replacement. We reviewed seven patients (eight knees) with recurrent patellar dislocation and one with bilateral irreducible lateral dislocation who had undergone simultaneous total knee replacement and internal tibial derotational osteotomy.
