Ferrimagnetic materials driven by spin-orbit torque (SOT) exhibit a distinctive characteristic of multistate magnetization switching and enable versatile applications. However, the underlying mechanism governing multistate magnetization switching in ferrimagnetic materials remains unelucidated. Here, by studying SOT-induced magnetization switching in Co/Gd ferrimagnetic multilayers with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA), we demonstrate that the multistate magnetization switching behavior is observed not only in [Co/Gd] but also in [Co/Gd]/CoFeB stacks and size-shrinking dot devices.

Based on social cognitive theory, this paper explores the roles of entrepreneurial education, proactive personality, and creative self-efficacy in the formation of undergraduates' new venture ideas. Using a sample of 650 undergraduates in China, we find that entrepreneurial education and proactive personality are both positively related to new venture idea formation, and proactive personalities also moderate the relationship between entrepreneurial education and new venture ideas.

Maintaining human body temperature in both high and low-temperature environments is fundamental to human survival, necessitating high-performance thermal insulation materials to prevent heat exchange with the external environment. Currently, most fibrous thermal insulation materials are characterized by large weight, suboptimal thermal insulation, and inferior mechanical and waterproof performance, thereby limiting their effectiveness in providing thermal protection for the human body. In this study, lightweight, waterproof, mechanically robust, and thermal insulating polyamide-imide (PAI) grooved micro/nanofibrous aerogels were efficiently and directly assembled by electrospinning.

In this study, common phytochemicals prevalent in fruits and vegetables have been demonstrated for their ability to inhibit quorum sensing (QS) in Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 (PA). Ten compounds were screened virtually by molecular docking, among which, daidzein dimethyl ether originally from Albizzia lebbeck showed the most significant inhibitory effect on the formation of biofilm and the accumulation of virulence factors, including elastase, pyocyanin and rhamnolipid in PA.

Methods: In this study, a total of 3061 patients between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2022 diagnosed with NSTEMI were enrolled in this study.
Background: The Ki-67 expression level, which represents the proliferation status of cells, serves as a prognostic marker for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC); however, the immunochemistry method currently used to evaluate Ki-67 is invasive and is not suitable for patients who have lost the chance for surgery, such as those with advanced tumors or those with other serious organic diseases. This study aimed to investigate the value of quantitative dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) parameters in predicting the expression level of Ki-67 in HCC.
Methods: This study analyzed the data of 123 consecutive patients with HCC who underwent both Ki-67 immunohistochemistry analysis and two-phase contrast-enhanced DECT imaging.
The StMADS11 subfamily genes play a crucial role in regulating flowering time, flower development, and bud dormancy in plants. These genes exhibit functional differences between annual and perennial woody plants. In hickory (Carya cathayensis Sarg.

However, few studies have investigated the PEBP gene family in pecan (Carya illinoinensis), particularly the function of the PEBP-like subfamily. In this study, we identified 12 PEBP genes from the pecan genome and classified them into four subfamilies: MFT-like, FT-like, TFL1-like and PEBP-like.

Numerous genetic diagnostic strategies have been widely applied to identify the genetic causes of prenatal abnormalities. We aimed to assess the value of simultaneous copy number variation sequencing (CNV-seq) and whole exome sequencing (WES) in diagnosing fetuses with structural anomalies.

The design of highly efficient catalysts to enhance the kinetics of oxygen reduction (OER) and oxygen evolution (ORR) reactions is the key issue for the development of high-performance Zn-air battery. In this work, we report the design of Co-CoTe heterostructured fibers as the bifunctional oxygen catalyst for Zn-air battery. Firstly, the theoretical analysis was carried out on Co-CoTe heterostructure.

In this paper, an optical path difference (OPD) demodulation method is applied to an interferometer array composed of an ultra-weak fiber Bragg grating (UWFBG) array and an imbalanced Michelson interferometer to solve this problem. As far as we know, this is the first time that OPD demodulation has been applied to DAS.

Background: Microbial infection and colonization are frequently associated with disease progression and poor clinical outcomes in bronchiectasis. Identification of pathogen spectrum is crucial for precision treatment at exacerbation of bronchiectasis.
Methods: We conducted a prospective cohort study in patients with bronchiectasis exacerbation onset and stable state.
Objective: To assess the effects of the clinical nursing pathway (CNP) on blood glucose and urine ketones in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
Methods: A total of 60 patients with DKA (20 type I and 40 type II) treated in the Department of Endocrinology at Anhui Second People's Hospital from January 2018 to May 2022 were recruited and randomly assigned to receive routine nursing (control group) or CNP plus routine nursing (observation group), with 30 patients in each group. The observation group received the clinical nursing pathway (CNP) along with routine nursing care.

The Zn dendrite growth and side reactions are two major issues for the practical use of Zn metal anodes (ZMAs). Herein, an N-doped carbon-based hybrid fiber with the 3D porous skeleton and the zincophilic Cu nanoparticles (denoted as Cu@HLCF) is developed for stable ZMAs. The zincophilic Cu particles in the skeleton work as the active sites to facilitate uniform Zn nucleation.
