For the development of an idyllic rural landscape, an accurate survey of rural buildings is essential. The extraction of rural structures from unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) remote sensing imagery is prone to errors such as misclassifications, omissions, and subpar edge detailing. This study introduces a multi-scale fusion and detail enhancement network for rural building extraction, termed the Multi-Attention-Detail U-shaped Network (MAD-UNet).

Phytomining technology cultivates hyperaccumulator plants on heavy metal contaminated soils, followed by biomass harvesting and incineration to recover valuable metals, offering an opportunity for resource recycling and soil remediation. Large areas of ultramafic soils, naturally rich in nickel (Ni), are present in numerous places around the world. As an environmentally friendly and cost-effective soil remediation technology, phytomining has a broad application prospect in such areas and thus has attracted great attention from global researchers.

Pregnancy outcomes of reciprocal translocation carriers with two or more unfavorable pregnancy histories: before and after preimplantation genetic testing.

Purpose: To report the normal live birth and birth defect rates pre- and post- preimplantation genetic testing for chromosomal structural rearrangements (PGT-SR) in reciprocal translocation carriers who have experienced two or more unfavorable pregnancy histories.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of 194 couples who underwent 265 PGT-SR cycles between January 2013 and August 2016. The rates of miscarriage, normal live birth, and birth defect pre- and post- PGT-SR treatment were recorded.
