A novel electrochemical biosensor based on TiO nanotube array films for highly sensitive detection of exosomes.

Exosomes have emerged as a powerful biomarker for early cancer diagnosis, however, accurately detecting cancer-derived exosomes in biofluids remains a crucial challenge. In this study, we present a novel label-free electrochemical biosensor utilizing titanium dioxide nanotube array films (TiONTAs) for the sensitive detection of exosomes in complex biological samples. This innovative biosensor takes advantage of the excellent electrochemical properties of TiONTAs and their specific interactions with the phosphate groups of exosomes.

Background: Cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) is a degenerative pathology that affects both upper and lower extremity mobility and sensory function, causing significant pressure on patients and society. Prior research has suggested that ginsenosides may have neuroprotective properties in central nervous system diseases. However, the efficacy and mechanism of ginsenosides for CSM have yet to be investigated.

Background: To comprehensively assess the neurologic recovery potential of chondroitinase ABC (ChABC) in rats after spinal cord injury (SCI).

Methods: The PubMed, Embase, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases were searched for animal experiments that evaluated the use of ChABC in the treatment of SCI up to November 2022. Studies reporting neurological function using the Basso, Beattie, and Bresnahan (BBB) scale, as well as assessments of cavity area, lesion area, and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) levels, were included in the analysis.

A Simple Method for the Determination of Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Products in Fish Tissue Based on Matrix Solid-Phase Dispersion.

A simple and effective pretreatment method based on matrix solid-phase dispersion was developed for the determination of pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) and their metabolites in fish by high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. The type and amount of dispersant, adsorbent, and eluting solvent were optimized by a single-factor experiment and Box-Behnken design. Under the optimal conditions with 2.
