Four meroterpenoids from the leaves of L. and their cytotoxicity activities.

In this study, two previously undescribed meroterpenoids, Psidiguajadiol G () and H (), together with 2 known analogues, were isolated from leaves of L. Their structures were confirmed by comparative analysis of spectroscopic analyses, calculated and measured electronic circular dichroism (ECD). Further experiments were used to detect cytotoxicity, anti-proliferation and apoptosis/necrosis effects of compounds in variously cancer cells.

Effects of Fluoxetine on Neural Functional Prognosis after Ischemic Stroke: A Randomized Controlled Study in China.

Objective: We investigated the effects of fluoxetine on the short-term and long-term neural functional prognoses after ischemic stroke.

Methods: In this prospective randomized controlled single-blind clinical study in China, eligible patients afflicted with ischemic stroke were randomized into control and treatment groups. Patients in the treatment group received fluoxetine in addition to the basic therapies in the control group over a period of 90 days.
