RIPs have been developed as effective genetic markers and popularly applied for genetic analysis in plants, but few reports are available for domestic animals. Here, we established 30 new molecular markers based on the SINE RIPs, and applied them for population genetic analysis in seven Chinese miniature pigs. The data revealed that the closed herd (BM-clo), inbreeding herd (BM-inb) of Bama miniature pigs were distinctly different from the BM-cov herds in the conservation farm, and other miniature pigs (Wuzhishan, Congjiang Xiang, Tibetan, and Mingguang small ear).

A green and efficient approach for the synthesis of selenium-substituted iminoisobenzofuran using 2-vinylbenzamides and diselenides in a continuous electrochemical microreactor has been developed. This strategy enabled the preparation of a series of iminoisobenzofuran derivatives in moderate to good yields under metal-free and oxidant-free conditions. The application of the electrochemical flow system successfully overcomes the difficulty of process control in traditional electrochemistry and achieves efficient transformation of electricity.

DNA transposons play a significant role in shaping the size and structure of eukaryotic genomes. The Tc1/mariner transposons are the most diverse and widely distributed superfamily of DNA transposons and the structure and distribution of several Tc1/mariner families, such as DD35E/TR, DD36E/IC, DD37E/TRT, and DD41D/VS, have been well studied. Nonetheless, a greater understanding of the structure and diversity of Tc1/mariner transposons will provide insight into the evolutionary history of eukaryotic genomes.

Proliferation is one of the significant hallmarks of gallbladder cancer, which is a relatively rare but fatal malignance. Aim of this study was to examine the biological impact and molecular mechanism of the candidate hub-gene on the proliferation and tumorigenesis of gallbladder cancer. Methods: The clinical data of 15 new diagnosed patients with MPAL treated in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2017 were retrospectively analyzed, and received CCLG-ALL 2008 (high risk group) protocol chemotherapy.

Results: One patient gave up treatment after diagnosed, and 14 children with MPAL after induction remission chemotherapy, 3 patients gave up, and 5 patients received consolidation chemotherapy, and 6 patients received allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT).

Background: Bioelectrochemical methane oxidation catalysed by anaerobic methanotrophic archaea (ANME) is constrained by limited methane bioavailability as well as by slow kinetics of extracellular electron transfer (EET) of ANME. In this study, we tested a combination of two strategies to improve the performance of methane-driven bioelectrochemical systems that includes (1) the use of hollow fibre membranes (HFMs) for efficient methane delivery to the ANME organisms and (2) the amendment of ferricyanide, an effective soluble redox mediator, to the liquid medium to enable electrochemical bridging between the ANME organisms and the anode, as well as to promote EET kinetics of ANME.

Results: The combined use of HFMs and the soluble mediator increased the performance of ANME-based bioelectrochemical methane oxidation, enabling the delivery of up to 196 mA m, thereby outperforming the control system by 244 times when HFMs were pressurized at 1.
