Spontaneous coronary artery dissection is a rare cause of unstable angina, myocardial infarction, and sudden cardiac death, particularly among young women and individuals without conventional atherosclerotic risk factors. We present the case of a 43-year-old woman who had spontaneous coronary artery dissection involving the left main with extension to left anterior descending artery and left circumflex artery. She was ultimately managed medically, with a good outcome.

In response to the toxic heavy metal absorbers in perovskite solar cells (PSCs), this work focuses on the development of an environmentally friendly simple solution-processed infrared (IR) absorber. In this work, a simple solution-crystallized IR-absorbing AgBiS film is reported by spin-coating silver, bismuth nitrates, and thiourea dissolved in dimethylformamide (DMF) to produce thick AgBiS film. Extensive optimization of the precursor concentrations thicknesses and conductive substrates used allow for obtaining 250 nm AgBiS film with different crystal sizes.

This research examines how participation in the Israeli Prisoner Rehabilitation Authority supervised therapy program for paroled prisoners can reinforce Jewish and Arab prisoners' locus of control given their cultural diversity. Research participants included 108 paroled prisoners who had taken part in the program during 2019 to 2020. The program appears to have made a positive contribution to participants' locus of control, particularly among Jewish parolees.

Introduction: Prone positioning has been widely utilized in ARDS management before and during the COVID-19 pandemic due to its demonstrated mortality benefits. In pregnancy, proning requires careful attention to often overlooked physiologic changes in pregnancy and additional technical challenges accompanying a gravid abdomen. Carbon from biomass as an active material for supercapacitor electrodes has attracted much interest due to its environmental soundness, abundance, and porous nature. In this context, activated carbon prepared from coconut shells a simple activation process (water or steam as activation agents) was used as an active material in electrodes for eco-friendly supercapacitors. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, conductivity, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), N sorption and thermogravimetry coupled to mass spectrometry (TGA-MS) studies revealed that activated carbon produced by this approach exhibit a graphitic phase, a high surface area, and large pore volume.

Objective: To evaluate whether the implementation of our surgical approach, referred to in the text as Linear Cutter Vessel Sealing System (LCVSS) technique, will improve perioperative outcomes in patients with placenta accreta spectrum (PAS), specifically by reducing blood loss and blood transfusion rates at the time of cesarean hysterectomy (C-HYST). The LCVSS technique integrates the following: (1) hysterotomy performed using the Linear Cutter, (2) no placental manipulation, (3) cauterization of anatomically prominent vascular anastomosis using the handheld vessel sealing system, and (4) completion of bladder dissection until the cervico-vaginal junction before ligation and division of uterine arteries.

Materials And Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study that analyzed perioperative outcomes in patients undergoing C-HYST for PAS at a tertiary care center from 1 July 2014 to 1 December 2019.

Background: In the last two decades, the world faced three epidemics caused by novel coronaviruses, namely, SARS-CoV in 2002, MERS-CoV in 2012, and the ongoing SARS-CoV-2 that started in late 2019. The aim of the present research is to examine the relationship between participation in the Enlightened Youth project for youths at risk and integration in employment at the end of the process, type of employment, dropout from school, and enlistment in the army. A database was prepared containing information on all the youths (499 in number) who were admitted to a multidisciplinary day Centre for Youths at Risk in Israel, of whom 86 participated in the project. To match a comparison group to the youths participating in the project, the propensity score matching method was operated.

Dual-source vapor-phase deposition enables low-temperature fabrication of high-performance planar structure perovskite (CHNHPbI) solar cells (PSCs), applicable in tandem devices or for industrial production with high homogeneity. Herein, we report low-temperature fabrication of high-efficiency PSCs by dual-source vapor-phase deposition and significance of TiO surface modification with [6,6]-phenyl C butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) on cell performance. Co-evaporation of PbI and CHNHI, as confirmed by X-ray diffraction and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy analyses, results in CHNHPbI layers with a well-crystallized tetragonal phase formed on both TiO and TiO/PCBM electron-transport layers (ETLs).
