Objectives-This report presents national estimates of different types of health insurance coverage and lack of coverage (uninsured). Estimates are presented by selected sociodemographic characteristics, including age, sex, race and Hispanic origin, family income, education level, employment status, and marital status. Methods-Data from the 2022 National Health Interview Survey were used to estimate health insurance coverage.

The extent to which emission control technologies and policies have reduced anthropogenic NO emissions from motor vehicles is large but uncertain. We evaluate a fuel-based emission inventory for southern California during the June 2021 period, coinciding with the Re-Evaluating the Chemistry of Air Pollutants in CAlifornia (RECAP-CA) field campaign. A modified version of the Fuel-based Inventory of Vehicle Emissions (FIVE) is presented, incorporating 1.

The experiment provided a unique opportunity to evaluate metagenomic profiles of canine feces before and after anti-parasitic drug exposure.

Methods: We abstracted data from all patients with locally advanced NSCLC treated with chemoradiation with or without consolidative immunotherapy over a ten-year period. Associations between EDIC and progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were modeled with Cox proportional hazards and Kaplan-Meier method.
State inventories indicate that dairy operations account for nearly half of California's methane budget. Recent analyses suggest, however, that these emissions may be underestimated, complicating efforts to develop emission reduction strategies. Here, we report estimates of dairy methane emissions in the southern San Joaquin Valley (SJV) of California in June 2021 using airborne flux measurements.

We aimed to analyze the evolution of β-lactam resistance to Hi among strains isolated from nasopharyngeal carriage in children with AOM and in mild ear fluid (MEF) after the spontaneous perforation of the tympanic membrane (SPTM) in France.

We synthesized highly strained 12-membered head to tail cyclic peptides with varying reactive amino acids, without oligomerization using the exclusively intramolecular CyClick chemistry. This occurs by a two-step process involving the low-energy formation of a 15 atom-containing cyclic imine, followed by a chemoselective ring contraction of the peptide backbone generating a highly strained 12 atom-containing cyclic tetrapeptide.

People who present to the emergency department with self-harm and co-occurring substance use problems often have difficulty accessing effective care. To develop a brief psychosocial intervention for this population, which would be suitable for testing in a future randomized controlled trial. A modified Delphi method was used.

Methods And Materials: This single-institution, multi-site retrospective study included 335 patients with LA-NSCLC treated with definitive, concurrent CRT between October 2017 and December 2021. All patients were evaluated for ICI consolidation.
We aimed to estimate the respiratory syncytial virus positivity rate among ambulatory children with bronchiolitis according to the bronchiolitis epidemic period as defined by the French Public Health Institute. The positivity rate was 28.9% during the nonepidemic period and 50.

Background: The risks of prefrail and frail women undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) have not been fully examined. The aim of the analysis was to assess the prognostic impact of prefrailty and frailty in women undergoing TAVR.
Methods: Women at intermediate or high surgical risk with severe aortic stenosis undergoing TAVR from the prospective multicentre WIN-TAVI (Women's International Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) registry were stratified based on the number of Fried frailty criteria (weight loss, exhaustion, low physical activity, slow gait, weakness) met: nonfrail (no criteria), prefrail (1 or 2 criteria), or frail (3 or more criteria).
Acrosome exocytosis (AE), in which the sperm's single exocytotic vesicle fuses with the plasma membrane, is a complex, calcium-dependent process essential for fertilization. However, our understanding of how calcium signaling regulates AE is still incomplete. In particular, the interplay between intra-acrosomal calcium dynamics and the intermediate steps leading to AE is not well-defined.

Predictive tools to understand which individuals are most at risk are needed.
Methods: We identified a cohort of N=1125 pregnant individuals who delivered between May 2015 and May 2022 at Mass General Brigham Hospitals with available electronic health record data and linked genetic data.
This article provides an historical review of child maltreatment, focusing on the three most common subtypes: physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. The evolution of recognizing, evaluating, and accurately diagnosing child maltreatment is described. Over time, the establishment of multidisciplinary teams, mandatory reporting, and Child Abuse Pediatrics as a subspecialty of pediatrics has improved the training, research, and clinical diagnosis for all forms of child maltreatment.

Blood vessels of the tissues supply oxygen, and nutrients and remove waste and byproducts. Incorporating blood vessels into engineered tissues is essential for overcoming diffusion limitations, improving tissue function, and thus facilitating the fabrication of thick tissues.

Methods: Thirty-one participants (25 with neurocognitive PCC) underwent clinical examination, lumbar puncture, and venipuncture ≥3 months after COVID-19 symptom onset. Healthy volunteers were included.
STING activation by cyclic dinucleotides in mammals induces IRF3- and NFκB -mediated gene expression, and the lipidation of LC3B at Golgi-related membranes. While mechanisms of the IRF3 response are well understood, the mechanisms of NFκB activation mediated by STING remain unclear. We report that STING activation induces linear/M1-linked ubiquitin chain (M1-Ub) formation and recruitment of the LUBAC E3 ligase, HOIP, to LC3B-associated Golgi membranes where ubiquitin is also localized.

Methods And Materials: We identified 229 consecutive patients with stage III non-small cell lung cancer treated with CRT + ICI between October 2017 and December 2021 at a single institution. PD was classified as isolated locoregional failure (LRF), isolated distant failure (DF), or synchronous LRF + DF.
Objectives: This study aimed to compare satisfaction with procedural abortion prior to 10 weeks' gestation in patients randomized to lavender essential oil aromatherapy vs placebo (jojoba oil).
Study Design: This randomized trial compared lavender aromatherapy vs placebo in patients undergoing procedural abortion <10 weeks' gestation. Participants self-administered and inhaled oil during their procedures.
