Here we report an iron-complex-catalyzed synthesis of various mono- and di-substituted quinolin-2(1)-ones achieved the intramolecular acceptorless dehydrogenative cyclization of amido-alcohols. This approach for the synthesis of N-heterocycles has provided access to underdescribed disubstituted quinolinones and represents an alternative to the well-known palladium-catalyzed coupling reactions.

A visible-light-induced iron-catalyzed α-alkylation of ketones with allylic and propargylic alcohols as pro-electrophiles is reported. The diaminocyclopentadienone iron tricarbonyl complex plays a dual role by harvesting light and facilitating dehydrogenation and reduction steps without the help of any exogenous photosensitizer. γ,δ-Unsaturated ketones can now be accessed through this borrowing hydrogen methodology at room temperature.

FAP-4-1BBL is a bispecific antibody exerting 4-1BB-associated T-cell activation only while simultaneously bound to the fibroblast activation protein (FAP) receptor, expressed on the surface of cancer-associated fibroblasts. The trimeric complex formed when FAP-4-1BBL is simultaneously bound to FAP and 4-1BB represents a promising mechanism to achieve tumor-specific 4-1BB stimulation. We integrated in vitro data with mathematical modeling to characterize the pharmacology of FAP-4-1BBL as a function of trimeric complex formation when combined with the T-cell engager cibisatamab.

Background: The Chronic Kidney Disease in Children Study (CKiD) equation for children and the Chronic Kidney Disease Epidemiology Collaboration (CKD-EPI) equation for adults are recommended serum creatinine (SCr)-based calculations for estimating glomerular filtration rate (GFR). However, these equations, as well as their combination, have limitations, notably the problem of implausible changes in GFR during the transition from adolescence to adulthood and overestimation of GFR in young adults. Background And Purpose: The standard for evaluating interval radiologic activity in MS, side-by-side MR imaging comparison, is restricted by its time-consuming nature and limited sensitivity. VisTarsier, a semiautomated software for comparing volumetric FLAIR sequences, has shown better disease-activity detection than conventional comparison in retrospective studies.
