Twenty-seven dimeric lindenane sesquiterpenoid (LS) derivatives, including thirteen new hetero- or homo-dimers (1-13), were discovered from rare Chloranthaceae plant Chloranthus holostegius var. shimianensis. Their structures were elucidated by a combination of HRMS, spectroscopic analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction and CD exciton chirality method.

We conducted this study to compare the oncological outcomes of lobectomy and sublobectomy for peripheral small-sized PMA.
Methods: This retrospective observational study included all patients with peripheral small-sized (≤2 cm) clinical stage IA1-A2 PMA who underwent lobectomy or sublobectomy (with margin distances ≥2 cm or greater than tumor diameter) between January 2015 and December 2018.
Background: Retrospective studies and large databases, such as the OneFlorida Clinical Research Consortium, rely on International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision (ICD-10) diagnosis codes to identify patients with specificity. This study aimed to determine if ICD-10 codes for CP are overutilized.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective analysis was conducted for patients with ICD-10 codes K86.
Background: Patients with acute myocardial infarction and angiographically obstructive non-culprit lesions are at high risk for recurrent major adverse cardiac events (MACEs). However, it remains largely unknown whether events are due to stenosis severity or due to the underlying high-risk lesion morphology.
Methods: Between January 2017 and December 2021, 1312 patients with acute myocardial infarction underwent optical coherence tomography of all the 3 main epicardial arteries after successful percutaneous coronary intervention.
Rationale And Objectives: To construct and validate a clinical-radiomics model based on radiomics features extracted from two-stage multimodal ultrasound and clinicopathologic information for early predicting pathologic complete response (pCR) to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) in breast cancer patients treated with NAC.
Materials And Methods: Consecutive women with biopsy-proven breast cancer undergoing multimodal US pretreatment and after two cycles of NAC and followed by surgery between January 2014 and November 2023 were retrospectively collected for clinical-radiomics model construction (n = 274) and retrospective test (n = 134). The predictive performance of it was further tested in a subsequent prospective internal test set recruited between January 2024 to July 2024 (n = 76).
Artificial intelligence (AI) is defined as the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks normally associated with human intelligence. At present, AI has been widely used in a variety of ultrasound tasks, including in point-of-care ultrasound, echocardiography, and various diseases of different organs. However, the characteristics of ultrasound, compared to other imaging modalities, such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), poses significant additional challenges to AI.

We aimed to validate a test combining GFAP (glial fibrillary acidic protein) and UCH-L1 (ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase-L1) to indicate the absence of HT after IVT.
Methods: We prospectively enrolled consecutive patients with stroke treated with IVT from 16 hospitals.
A critical challenge in glioma treatment is detecting tumour infiltration during surgery to achieve safe maximal resection. Unfortunately, safely resectable residual tumour is found in the majority of patients with glioma after surgery, causing early recurrence and decreased survival. Here we present FastGlioma, a visual foundation model for fast (<10 s) and accurate detection of glioma infiltration in fresh, unprocessed surgical tissue.

Methods: We examined patient characteristics, adherence to performance measures, and in-hospital outcomes in patients hospitalized for acute ischemic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracerebral hemorrhage, and transient ischemic attack in The Get With The Guidelines-Stroke hospitals from 2003 through 2022.
is a dominant phytopathogen of grape white rot in China, significantly impacting grape yield and quality. Previous studies showed that the growth and pathogenicity of were affected by the environmental pH. Arrestin-like protein PalF plays a key role in mediating the activation of an intracellular-signaling cascade in response to alkaline ambient.

The distinguishing of the different nucleophilic sites (-site and diverse -sites) by the chemoselective C-F bond functionalization of -difluoroalkenes enables the unique synergistic defluorinative coupling reaction. This reaction features mild conditions, is operationally simple, efficient, and gram-scalable, tolerates various functional groups, and is activator-free and without racemization.

Methods: This study recruited 138 subjects (eyes): 102 with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD), 18 with diabetic macular edema (DME), and 18 with cataract (control group). AH samples underwent analysis using Olink Target 96 proteomics and Metabolon's metabolomics platform Data analysis included correlation, differential abundance, and gene-set analysis.
Transition-metal catalyzed allylic substitution reactions of alkenes are among the most efficient methods for synthesizing diene compounds, driven by the inherent preference for an inner-sphere mechanism. Here, we present a demonstration of an outer-sphere mechanism in Rh-catalyzed allylic substitution reaction of simple alkenes using gem-difluorinated cyclopropanes as allyl surrogates. This unconventional mechanism offers an opportunity for the fluorine recycling of gem-difluorinated cyclopropanes via C - F bond cleavage/reformation, ultimately delivering allylic carbofluorination products.

Conventional consensus discourages the utilization of SO concentrations exceeding 10 mM for effective defluorination. This has hindered our understanding of SO chemistry beyond its electron photogeneration properties.

Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS), a noninvasive physical therapy, has been shown to promote bone fracture healing. It is also reported that LIPUS could reduce the duration of orthodontic treatment; however, how LIPUS regulates the bone metabolism during the orthodontic treatment process is still unclear.

However, the development of selective c-Src inhibitors turns out to be challenging. In our previous study, we performed posttranslational modification-inspired drug design (PTMI-DD) to provide a plausible way for designing selective kinase inhibitors.

Herein, this work proposes a solvent-phobic dynamic liquid electrolyte interphase (DLEI) on a Li metal (Li-PFbTHF (perfluoro-butyltetrahydrofuran)) surface that selectively transports salt and induces salt-derived SEI formation. The solvent-phobic DLEI with C-F-rich groups dramatically reduces the side reactions between Li, carbonate solvents, and humid air, forming a LiF/LiPO-rich SEI.

To produce high-value p-cymene from WT, we propose a catalytic cascade process combining hydropyrolysis and catalytic gas-phase hydrotreating in a two-stage fixed-bed reactor. The effect of catalysts prepared with three different acidic supports on the hydrogenation/dehydrogenation of limonene, a compound derived from the hydropyrolysis of WT, was investigated.
