Translation and validation of the Nature Relatedness Scale to German.

Over the recent past, tools have been developed to asses people's connection to and attitudes towards nature due to increasing interest in this topic in society and research. We translated one such questionnaire, the Nature Relatedness Scale, consisting of three subscales (NR-Self, NR-Perspective, NR-Experience) to German. We collected 251 data sets and performed a confirmatory factor analysis, followed by an exploratory factor analysis.

COVID-19 related cognitive, structural and functional brain changes among Italian adolescents and young adults: a multimodal longitudinal case-control study.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been associated with brain functional, structural, and cognitive changes that persist months after infection. Most studies of the neurologic outcomes related to COVID-19 focus on severe infection and aging populations. Here, we investigated the neural activities underlying COVID-19 related outcomes in a case-control study of mildly infected youth enrolled in a longitudinal study in Lombardy, Italy, a global hotspot of COVID-19.

A multi-environmental source approach to explore associations between metals exposure and olfactory identification among school-age children residing in northern Italy.

Background: Metal exposures can adversely impact olfactory function. Few studies have examined this association in children. Further, metal exposure occurs as a mixture, yet previous studies of metal-associated olfactory dysfunction only examined individual metals.
